Chaise lounge sofa – Our stressful life means that we sometimes take the time to relax. The economy, unemployment and the task of simply putting food on the table can stress us to the max. A holiday is perhaps not in the budget, so we have to come up with other ways to relax. Many of us have an outdoor wood chaise that we normally use in the spring and summer.
Construction and attached to the back. Using the base of the arm, measure and cut wood to create a back of one end of the living room. Replace it with wood screws to where the arm once was. Before painting the lounge, sand down with a good medium-grit sandpaper to remove any existing stain, paint or varnish from wood.
Painting wood. Your choice of color and fabric determines the style of the chaise lounge sofa. If you want to create a stylish look, paint the wood in a gold or silver metallic and select silky fabrics and lots of pillows that are soft and plush. If your outdoor cushions in good condition, you can reuse them by sewing simple cover to cover them.
Transfer the measurements to the fabric and cut out the pieces that you will use for the back and seat of the saloon. Do the same with the new cushion for the new rear part of the chaise longue. Add pillows and a throw, and you just have converted an outdoor chaise longue in a new indoor chaise lounge sofa. Relax and enjoy!
